There are many wonderful books out there but first and foremost we should be in the Word of God—it is the only source for life and godliness. Although books should not be our first read there are many great writers out there such as Owen, Spurgeon and Wesley, writers of old who share theological truths often left unsaid in todays pulpits and newer books. Gary starts a series on some of his favorite books and authors that can challenge and inspire growth in our faith walk.
