The Importance of Health and Wellness in the Work of God

Listen to podcast audio:

Your physical health is critical to the calling God has for your life. Sadly, many in the church have neglected their wellness to the detriment of God’s purposes for them. David Bush joins Gary Wilkerson on the podcast today to discuss the importance of stewarding our bodies well so that we can love God and others with all of our strength.

Key Points from the Podcast

  • Community and accountability are essential when you want true, lasting transformation in your life—whether it be physically or spiritually.

  • When we confess our sin and struggles to a trusted friend the power of secrecy and shame is broken.

  • Food can be just as much of an addiction as pornography, alcohol, or drugs.

  • The message of health and wellness is not a popular one in the church today.

  • The time comes to stop mourning past failures and to move forward into the new things that God has for you.
