The Music of a Different Future

World Challenge Staff

God introduced himself into one young girl’s life, and now as she becomes a young adult, she’s seeing how the road he’s set her on is a unique blessing.

Juli grew up in Iba village, near Albania’s capital Tirana. She was introduced to church and a children’s club run by World Challenge’s partner as a little girl. A very shy and reserved child, she still came every week with a friend.

Making a Multi-Generational Church

Church leaders in Brazil are looking for ways to build up children and teenagers as vital ministry workers.

The ministry of Jacob’s Well extends throughout northern Brazil, sharing the gospel alongside helping people get access to the clean water but also teaching them new agricultural practices, hygiene lessons and other community skills.

Reading lessons are one of their programs, meant to combat the high levels of illiteracy in Brazil’s rural areas.

A Vision for Macedonia

While many younger people are fleeing the Balkans, God is calling one World Challenge scholarship student and others like him back to their homeland.

I come from east Macedonia, and I was raised up in a Christian family. All of my life, I’ve known who God is. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit when I was eleven and then baptized in water when I was fifteen.

A History of Faith

With a World Challenge scholarship, a Karen refugee is pursuing God’s calling into the unknown.

I was born in Burma, but I’m not Burmese. I’m of the Karen. Really, my story begins long before I was born.

Adoniram Judson was the reason my family was Christian long before they came to the United States.

Breaking Free

Ian Watkins

In the darkest hour, God’s whisper saved one young man’s life and put him on a path to ministry.

Three years ago, a few friends and I decided to start a Bible study and call it Move of God, or MOG. We wanted it to be an invitation for others to get to know God.

I expected it to only be us at the beginning. I mean, after all, a lot of kids at my school knew me and knew who I’d been before I came to Christ.

Making a Legacy

"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.” (Joel 2:28 NLT)
